My facial at the House of Elemis

I’ve used some products from the skincare brand Elemis for years, and have grown to really adore the iconic British beauty brand – not just from personal use but for my job and blog I’m fortunate enough to work closely with many brands, and Elemis being one of them.

So when I was given a gift card at Christmas (yes I realise it’s nearly summer now!) for The House of Elemis salon in London’s Mayfair I was pretty excited. The card came in a beautiful gift box and included a travel size Elemis product.

When I go to salons I usually opt for a treatment I can’t do (or do well) at home – i.e. nails and massage. But my skin this year hasn’t been the best – a combination of hormones/stress/poor immune system etc at the beginning of the year, mixed in with cold weather and daily pollution has not given my skin the clear and radiant appearance I’d really like, so I decided to book in for a facial…

Relaxing time out… in a Treehouse!

Being a fan of holidays far and wide, I often forget how fortunate we are to have so many beautiful towns and places on our doorstep, and in my instance (for the benefit of any overseas readers!) I’m talking about the UK.

With beautiful coastlines, countryside, forest and cities galore, I’m sure we all have our favourite British hotspots that we love to go back to.

For me one of those places is the glorious resort Chewton Glen. Tucked away in the southern part of the New Forest, and yet only a 10 minute walk from the beach, which is completely unspoilt and stunning in all it’s natural glory with views of the Isle of Wight in the distance, the location for me ticks all boxes.

But the hotel and spa resort is something else, so much so I’ve been there three times now over the last few years. Every visit has been different, but so good.
