My pushchair of choice

When you are entering the world of parenthood for the first time, a pushchair/pram/travel system is one of, if not THE biggest purchase you’ll make – and they don’t come cheap! Research is essential to make sure you find the right choice for YOU (seeing as you’ll likely be using it daily) as well as getting to a store (if you can) to test out a physical demonstration.

I found it quite difficult to find enough online critique when exploring the new (and rather alien) world of buggies and prams, so I’ve decided to review and promote the system I ended up choosing, in case this helps anyone out there looking for a pram/pushchair combo with similar lifestyle and factors that I had to personally consider…

A tailor made gift for a mum-to-be

I don’t know about you, but with the demand for personalised gifts on the up (why wouldn’t they be, considering the high level of sentiment they create) sometimes there’s nothing better than to receive a thoughtful (and tasteful!) custom made gift for a loved one.

This Mummy-to-Bee’s Baby Shower

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind and I’m so behind on my blogging! But I simply HAD to prioritise this post…all about my wonderful baby shower!

I’m now 36 weeks + 3 days pregnant (every day counts in pregnancy!!) and a couple of weeks ago my besties organised the most perfect shower for me.

Not only was it a surprise, but no stone was left unturned – the attention to detail was amazing! Due to my surname (Bevington), friends soon referred to my growing bubba as Baby B, then Baby Bee (insert the bumble bee emoji) in early pregnancy and it’s stuck, I love it!

Losing my mind #truestory

Baby brain does exist, and I don’t even have a baby (yet).

Just like the unexpected impact of tiredness in one’s first trimester, to which I used to brush off as ‘nothing’ when I used to hear friends complain of being tired before I was ever pregnant, I felt the same regarding “baby brain”. I’m not sure I believed it. Inserting an apology to my friends if I have EVER brushed off their pregnancy symptoms!

Do we really become forgetful during pregnancy? Yes. Yes we do…
