Oreo fudge brownies (yes yes yes)

As part of my “easing my way back in to the kitchen” plan, I decided to pick up my Baking Made Easy book by Lorraine Pascale and opted to try her Cookies & Cream Fudge Brownies.Brownies 2

They are so easy to make, and yet taste pretty damn good too! One tip however…Lorraine uses 1 pack of biscuits in her recipe, but after trialling a couple of batches, I prefer using 2 packs!!

Easy peasy flapjacks

I used to really enjoy baking, and then life took a few different busy directions, forcing my culinary skills to go straight to the bottom of the priority pile – I just never had time to cook in my kitchen. *My* kitchen – one I decorated with light pink walls, hints of flamingos and Cath Kidston, and a proud shelf of amazing cook books that once upon a time I’d spend hours working my way through…
