Spring/Summer 2016 Wish List

I know my blog isn’t “serious fashion” – there’s enough blogs out there to cover that – but I do like odd piece of fashion… I am allowed to enjoy style even if I am no style icon!

With January far gone (hurrah) and February’s winter chill hopefully coming to an end soon, I’m excited about spring – a new season to brush away the cold cobwebs and either dust down our colourful wardrobes or invest in new finds…

I’d need a hefty bonus or pay rise at work to buy my spring wish list – hence the word “wish”! (Is the boss reading this haha?!?)

Here are my top ten desires for the season of new beginnings, flowers, colour and sunshine ahead…

  1. Lula Dreamy Flamingo Wedge Sandals by Sophia Webster. £320.

Super cute flamingo print wedges by a fellow flamingo enthusiast! I would LOVE these in my wardrobe for Spring/Summer.

2. “Tropic Like It’s Hot” tank vest by PINK @ Victoria Secret, £21.29.

This top makes me want to hum along to Snoop Dogg & Pharrell whilst strolling on Miami’s South Beach! (Please!)

3. Rosy pendant by Kate Space, £115.

Super cute and different. And with roses being my favourite bloom and uber sentimental to me, why wouldn’t I want to wear some round my neck!

4. Floral print satin mini skirt by Ted Baker, £139.

I’m a fan of florals in spring and this charming skirt ticks a few boxes for me, from day to night and from work to play.

5. “Dare To Dream” Grace Pouch by Lulu Guinness, £125.

This little leather pouch is perfect for our necessities on a day/night out (phone, keys, cards and makeup essentials). I love the subtlety of the embossed caption that speaks a thousands words.

6. Light pink floral maxi dress by Alexander McQueen, £2,395.

Lottery win required… But this pretty gown would be perfect for a couple of weddings I’m going to this summer!

7. Straight-legged Vivian trousers by Stella McCartney, £375.

I may not have the legs to suit these (hence the “wish list”) but they’d be ideal for day or night, smart or casual look. I like an item that you can wear many ways…

8. “Warm Up Over Tee” by Sweaty Betty, £45.

I like the fact I could wear this for yoga/pilates/workout, or even just with leggings for a casual look.

9.  Cross strap slip dress, Topshop, £29.

Available in orange, black and khaki – I can tell these dresses are going to be a staple piece for a lot of us this Spring/Summer! I love the crossover back.

10.  Boat Flat Clair De Lune Veau Velours by Christian Louboutin, £895.

Again, perhaps another lottery win required, but these would be the perfect sneaker (not being a classic “trainer-kinda-gal”) to wear with a multitude of outfits. I love the multi-colour beading!

And that’s my top 10 for spring! Hope you like/approve!
