Halloween Beauty (don’t be scared!)

Double, double, toil and trouble… Halloween is just round the corner, and so I’ve selected some seasonal beauty treats for this time of year. These Autumn favourites of mine are more than just aptly named and coloured, so put down those magic wands and rest assured for a haunted and ghostly-free look this Halloween!

Clockwise, starting top right…

Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Mask by Rodial (50ml £39)

Not really made out of Dragon’s Blood, this nourishing mask soothes, hydrates and aids to shield skin against environment damage – perfect for this transitional time of year with the temperature outside suddenly dropping. After use, my skin always looks healthier and glowing – perfect before a night of trick or treating!!

They’re Real! Push-Up Eyeliner by Benefit in Beyond Purple (£18.50)

It’s no wonder this eyeliner is becoming increasingly popular due to it’s waterproof gel formula, lasting all day, and the easy-to-use pen mechanic making it easy to get close to the lash line and make big-eyed beautiful flicks! I use the black one regularly, but the purple works great on brown eyes too and adds a bit of richness for an autumn look.

Frankincense Intense Cream by Neal’s Yard Remedies (50g £55)

Deeply moisturising – this cream simply hydrates, firms, tones and radiates, soothing all redness for any sensitive skins. After a thorough cleanse before bedtime, I love massaging this in to my skin, and let it do its magic overnight!! *Insert witches cackle*

Gel colour in Every Month Is Oktoberfest by OPI

Also available in a regular lacquer, this dark burgundy shade is the season’s “new black” and complimentary to any autumnal look. I had mine painted on in a manicure, in gel formula, to last 2-3 weeks and without a witches finger in sight!

Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Curvaceous Coal by Clinique (£17)

This creamy and non-smudging formula provides just enough sheer wash of colour to lids, whilst containing vitamin E to sooth the eyelid. The pencil  applicator is easy to use as well. The shade Curvaceous Coal gives a subtle smoky look, which is great for the darker, dramatic and spooky nights this season!

Here’s my assistant helping me with my photo styling – aka my new (adorable yet naughty) kitten Dolly…
